Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

Use these potholders as a mitt or a standard potholder. Kitchenaid logo on the mitt makes you wonder if you, for sure, bought it from kitchenaid and not from a knockoff.

These are perfect. They exude quality craftsmanship and are incredibly easy to use. The high-quality materials ensure durability. No more struggling with awkward shapes or flimsy materials.

The silicone side is grippy, not slippery. They protect you without being too stiff. The silicone backing really helps prevent slippage also. Easy to clean and good grip.

Cons

Back fabric feels very flimsy and thin. The soft silicone just slips all over. If they are not on just so, you risk grabbing a hot pot with part of your hand covered only by the cotton side. This hot pad is dangerous.

I find them too cumbersome and hard to grip a hot casserole from the oven. While i like the silicone for gripping, the shape makes these difficult to grab anything.

Quality

I really like these hot pan holders because they seem to be well made and have a grip on one side to keep a firm hold of your pans.

These are sturdy and unlike others does not melt when touching something baked at 350 degrees.

They also were only good for pots that were not so extremtly hot.

They are thick and sturdy but easy enough to handle hot dishes.

Price

I’m very pleased with what i got for the price

These are a great price for the performance!

I’m happy with the value for the money.

Competitiveness

Bought these to replace ones be bought at bed bath & beyond.

Also, the kitchenaid logo on the mitt makes you wonder if you, for sure, bought it from kitchenaid and not from a knockoff.

And that side only gives you a single inchlong stitch in the top middle to give you so as to not have your hand slip around inside that big space but it isnt as helpful as it would seem

Also the kitchenaid logo on the mitt makes you wonder if you for sure bought it from kitchenaid and not from a knockoff

The problem with pot holders is that they don’t fit my big hands

Seems like on part of my hand is always on the edge ready to get burned

Gloves require constant putting on and taking off so pot holders are our choice in the homeless kitchen when we’re re taking things in and out of our two convection ovens

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

These seem about 50 larger than standard and there’s a nice little sleeve in the back if you need something between an oven mitt and a pot holder just easier to get one and off than the mitt

I’d recommend spending a bit more and getting theses
