Pros & Cons
Pros
Great quality hot pads and potholder all in one. My favorite feature is how flexible they are. They are very secure.
There is some stitching in the middle of the pocket where your hand goes, to keep your hand from slipping. Silicone straps feel sturdy and the length of the mitt covers the wrist.
Gloves require constant putting on and taking off so pot holders are our choice in the homeless kitchen. It fits well with my small hands, not too thick but still practical. Help protect against burns.
Cons
The silicone is only on the front of this mitt. The entire back is polyester fabric. These potholders are a disappointment.
This hot pad is dangerous. The stitching up the middle makes it hard to keep your hand in the hot pad. I find them too cumbersome and hard to grip a hot casserole from the oven. It is so awkward to hold and grab a hot item.
Highlights
Quality
They truly help keep your hands from getting burned and are super durable and the colors are always vibrant and stay well through washing.
These are well-made mitts; great for bakers!
I have new quartz countertops and too hot of a pot or pan can damage the surface.
Good quality cotton-w/poly lining and okay on the overall stitching for the way things are done these days.
Shipping
The kitchenaid ribbed soft silicone water resistant pot holder set arrived in tact.
Packaging/appearance
Looks great on table or counter when serving hot dishes
