Pros

The kitchenaide tong is sturdy and has a better hinge post than other brands. These tongs are some of the best tongs i’ve found to use on non-stick surfaces.

They are of what i consider normal good quality, sturdiness and functionality. Sturdy and not flimsy. Ended up pleasantly surprised at the quality of these.

It makes my cooking less stressful. It washes well in the dishwasher. No problems with durability or ease of cleanup.

Cons

Very disappointed in kitchenaid quality. The hinge is really flimsy. Misaligned parts and the tongs to not meet at the tips.

It’s easy to grip, lock and unlock and it’s heat resistant.

The silicone is thick on these tongs, and they were completely unaffected by hot oil i used to turn meat in a skillet.

Only bought a new one because the last one i purchased 7 years ago finally stopped working when the spring rusted in half.

Price

They worked great and a good price.

Bought this on cyber monday/black friday at discounted price.

It's more expensive, but worth the sacrifice.

The box fold makes it much easier to clean the inside channel compared to the cheeper triangular design tongs.

I had a cheaper pair from a different brand and you truly get what you pay for with these!

It also stays open when i'm using the tongs, unlike other brands that lock themselves just as i'm squeezing the sides together.

I tried the cheaper brands, which could be more sturdy like this one.
