Pros & Cons
Pros
Shoe string potatoes tossed with olive oil and spices and placed in a 450 degree oven for about 15 minutes. Spiralizer works well for making zucchini noodles. Apple pie, curly fries….
Easy to attach and use. Quick and easy. It's super easy to use and multi-functional.
It goes on in a second; it's a snap to clean; and, it works as advertised. Easy to clean with a brush and hot soapy water.
Cons
On starchy veggies the slicer blade bends way too much. The rotary shredder attachment, garbage. The sausage maker is cheap plastic which splits.
I'm disapointed in this product. The product itself is a great idea with poor execution. I like most kitchenaid products but this one was a failure.
Highlights
Quality
This product is everything i wanted, works great, easy to use, great quality!
This little gadget saved me from peeling, coring and slicing.
I've made curly fries several times and dehydrated the apples and pears.
The peeler attachment has to have a straight piece of food that isn’t too skinny, too wide, or too floppy, which for me wasn’t worth it.
Price
It was on sale, so got a great price.
I did buy this heavily marked down so it was a great deal for the price
It is worth the money as i got it on sale.
It’s kinda expensive and cuts deeper groove than i’d like.
Packaging/appearance
The box it comes in is perfect for storage too.
Cool add-on for the mixer, down to the design of the packaging that doubles as an organized container to keep the tool in.
Competitiveness
In general, i'd recommend sticking with kitchenaid brand accessories for your kitchenaid stand mixer, this again proves that rule well.
I've tried other brands, none seem to integrate as tightly as these ones, and these are by far the most usable versions of the products.
It can be opened without having to mangle the cardboard, similar to other kitchenaid-branded attachments go.
It's a kitchenaid brand, so it integrates with the mixer perfectly.
