Pros & Cons
Pros
It's not that hard to repair, so, if this happens to your mxer, give it a try! Google for instructions on repair.
The part fit perfectly and was not difficult to install.
Highlights
Quality
Very happy with the product and the speed of delivery.
This part was a perfect fit and with the help of a youtube video was able to make a quick and lasting repair.
Installation is easy but messy with the grease all over the inside.
Most difficult part is getting the pins in and out for this gear and the planetary; even with the proper tools.
Price
The mixer is worth more than $200, and to fix it it only cost me the price of this gear and about an hour of my time.
Shipping
I love it and was shocked by how fast i received this!
Plus they charged shipping on top of that.
Packaging/appearance
Was able to repair my mixer and avoid costly replacement of mixer
Competitiveness
It arived in a timly manner and was fit for use.
He tore the mixer apaart following the online you tube video and there it was, a craked worm gear!
For anyone's info 1/2 cooked potatoes don't work and will strip gears.
The gear looks to be exactly the same one that sears had and at 1/10 the price!
