The length is perfect for everyday use. Good quality and durable.

These puppies are durable. They are very sturdy. They feel heavy and durable. Well worth a few more bucks for these.

Kitchenaid tongs are great. Easy to use. Release is padded so you don't get marks when trying to get them unlocked.

Both open easily by pushing in the round hanger looking piece at the end. They lock closed so they take less room in the dishwasher. Both seem high quality, and lock and unlock easily.
