Pros
It's handy that when open there's a coloured ring shown, although the items delivered had more a of a copper colour rather than the red in the picture. Can be used for skype, hangouts, facetime and filming blogs.
Smooth sliding mechanic of the camera lens cover. Easy to attach with no impact on laptop lid closing.
They’ve never peeled off, they’re effective and are easy to slide. Both my macbook and thinkpad laptops close seamlessly with these in place.
Cons
They can be stuck around your webcam, then slid closed whenever you don't want to use it. These are low quality, and one has fallen off after a week or so of use.

Packaging/appearance
There are six covers in the pack, four black and two white.
Is the most common way of covering the cam but then removing and reusing is annoying and leaves residue.
Remember to check the packaging, i didn't even spot the cleaning cloth 'till after the first laptop was modified.

We are warned of the dangers of hackers taking control of our webcams and although the function can be disabled in software it would seem that somebody who can gain access to your pc would also be able to reenable the webcam

You have the red part around the web cam presumably so that it warns you that the slider is in the open position

When the black cover is closed over the webcam you can hardly notice it at all
