Its best to go with the metal finish because the painted kanteens begin to chip and the paint slowly gets removed with usage

We did order a different cap without the drinking spout for using to transport milk to be added to cereal since it didnt need the spout

Not a fan of the sport top it leaks and is hard for 3 year old to open and 4 year olds to close leading to spills
