The inside of the lid is stainless steel,too. The volume of liquid it holds is perfect for the two of us - we use isotonic tablets also. I has been kicked about a bit and looks no worse off because of it.
Cons
The smell inside this flask is disgusting. It's like a deep fat fryer smell. Tried soapy water to get it off and no joy.
Design of the base is dreadful.

High quality bottle and not too big, been using it every day - can leak if silicone on the lid is not on properly.
