I thought i was smart and bought a replacement top so i wouldnt have to search for the top as i rush out the door

Ive now determined that the original top does not leak but the top sold as a replacement 1707 etched in the center of the inside does leak

The hydro flask and i assume the narrow mouth kanteen have threads on the inside of the neck of the container were the wide mouth kanteens threads are on the outside of the neck

But i feel a less complicated cap in general is a better design
