This is going to replace my contigo commuter mugs all of which leak not all the time but often enough to ruin a motherboard mess up papers orings plastic lids threads small cracks

I didnt put in hot water first to heat up the inside layer first so i imagine if i did it would be even better

I do like that aside from the silicone gasket in the lid the main surface under the lid that touches the liquid is also stainless steel so there is no plastic at all contacting the liquid
