Pros & Cons
Pros
These are the perfect size for the 150 square feet, with open air on 3 sides. Mounting them was very easy - the mounts have multiple screw eyelets like picture frames. Didn't have any issues soffit mounting them with some toggle bolts.
The bass is much better than i expected. I wish the bass was a bit more there but is a significant improvement over some old mirage speakers i was using. The highs are great and the bass is fantastic too and the vocals are crisp & clear as well. T... Read More
Watt rms amp is plenty to drive them with no distortion. Powered by a new yamaha rs-202 receiver. Pushing them with the yamaha 200w receiver (the popular $200 one) sonos amp to power it.
Cons
There's an artificial midbass hump, and the highs were grating. A plastic cone and cheap component from china.
Seller requires you to pay for shipping back to the factory! Once again, product is not high quality, so buyer must manage expectations, and seller does not offer any assistance with returning items. Dead as a door nail.

With the price reduction because of the new models coming out, it was a good buy.
Competitiveness
Many people will like the heavy bass, but klipsch apparently wanted to do as many manufacturers do, compensating for the lack o... Read More
