Off-axis, it sounds like most tweeters, but in the sweet spot area, there's a vigorous crispness to the treble. Klipsch handles the whole spectrum with fidelity and ease. Good bass but not overpowering sound.

Klipsch g-17 is the best airplay speaker and sound bar out there at that price. I am very happy with the looks, performance, and convenience of the wireless speakers.

The remote control is very handy if you place this item out of the way. Power supply is separate from the unit and has a separate cord to the plug.

Klipsch iphone app is a good way to set up an ios device. There is also an independent application for windows pcs, airfoil.

This speaker is very unreliable when used via airplay. Setting up the speaker for wireless use is a real pain. It's always been terribly tricky to get it onto wi-fi.

Klipsch g17-air wi-fi router is very difficult to use. Frequent loss of connectivity. No forums or easy-to-use tutorials.

It's not for everyone. Totally untrue. Not convenient. Imo, look elsewhere.

I wish klipsch would admit to the faulty equipment. The app no longer works and you cannot set up via your phone. Klipsch support is overloaded with support requests - probably all dealing with the app and connectivity issues.
