Pros & Cons
Pros
Klipsch gig has more bass than any of the bluetooth portable speakers that were at the $200 clip. It's much more balanced than the bose and produces clean bass. The gig is ultra portable and can compete with bose soundlink mini sound for sound.
The connectivity works better than any bluetooth device i have owned. My only complaint is that the screw holding the rotating case has come loose. Connecting to bluetooth devices is easy, with great range offered by my galaxy tab pro 8.
I wish the price was a bit lower so more would take a serious look at the speaker becasue it really is a great device. It has a built-in speakerphone and offers aptx and nfc support for devices that include those features. While it doesn't beat the so... Read More
Cons
Klipsch needs to work out their bugs or adopt some higher standards for manufacturing before they foist their stuff on an unsuspecting public. Is that why it was on sale? Wouldn't recommend their products.
Thumbs down. Nada peep from them. Seems a risky last minute christmas choice.
Bluetooth connectivity is slower compared to most speakers i have. Instructions are sparse, not user friendly. Is bluetooth such an unstable technology?
It always disconnects and turns itself off very quickly after not receiving any signal. The port is in an awkward place, too, and obviously defective.

Oontz angle 3- decent design, super light, powers up quick and connects easily, but sound is poor, and empty, and cheap, compared to others

I got this for $80 and it puts out pretty clear sound with a decent amount of bass.

I now own 3 klipsch bluetooth speakers and this little guy is half the price of the bose mini and stacks up equivalent on every... Read More
Packaging/appearance
Received everything as expected, carefully opened each and started to get them all powered up.
Competitiveness
Really nice performer comparing with its competitors , sound link mini vs gig , sound quality and bass is less but battery long... Read More
I feel it compares favorably to the bose mini-soundlink and at a much better price point.
Similar speaker in the same range is either too dull or too much treble (like bose).
It's much more balanced than the bose and produces clean bass.
