Pros & Cons
Pros
Klipsch r-112 is a serious subwoofer. The sub turns on with the amp via wireless. The optional setup has the two floor standing towers in front, two rear surrounds in the back, the center speaker in the front center.
Great movie sound and very good music reproduction. Peak centered in the 30-45hz range in my family room. Receiver is in a cabinet in another, open, room about 25 feet away.
The r-112sw has no problem filling the room with warm and clear bass. You will want to tweak the dials on the back depending on your taste in bass. This sub adds bass without being obvious - i didn't even realize how much it was adding until my glass ... Read More
Cons
Power supply is up and running but no signal getting to the amp. Went through 2 of them so far. Now i have to deal the hassle of getting this massive door stop fixed. Go with polk.
Highlights
Quality
High quality subwoofer with 600watt max power.
These all have excellent sound engineering/mixing in mho.
Wireless was flawless, installed and connected to the receiver in under 5 minutes.

I know it’s expensive but this thing is solid and sturdy and if you don’t want a hernia, you’ll need help moving this thing around.
For $799 plus tax, i said it is not the right sub.
I - truly - don't know how klipsch can put this sub out at the price they do; then throw in the wireless kit too.
Shipping
The unit arrived sooner than expected and in great shape.
Packaging/appearance
Well packaged and very happy with the purchase.
I had the r-110sw originally and it packed a punch.
Competitiveness
The speaker is much heavier than the it's predecessor - a good thing.
I have had three other subs in the $300-600 range (wireless) and always felt let down.
