Packaging/appearance
You do hear cable noise as expected from cheaper sealing iems but these are reference audio as explicitly stated on the packaging.
Competitiveness
For me, it's a keeper and something like a change of pace from the competition.
I have had several klipsch in-ear headphones before.
Paired this with a jlab gravity headset, which requires no mic on the headphone end because one is built in.
However detail and timing are excellent in that things that sound muddled with other lesser in-ear audio are crisply defined.

The cable itself is thinner and cheaper than its ever been the ear caps are hard to call klipsch given how cheap and flimsy they are

Their downside is they dont stay in well if you are moving around a lot so i would not recommend using them while exercising

I previously had the klipsch s4 earbuds for about 5 years and decided to upgrade because the earpiece part kept falling off and getting stuck in my ear
