Popped the internal amp after a lengthy 5 year - 3 months hard use.

It is found that these klipsch subs have bad resistors in the amp and too close together on the amp.

Price

Seriously, this is a great subwoofer for the money.

Even with this issue i recommend this sub over the 505, f12, pb1000, and anything under $750.

Amazon had this subwoofer at a great price and i couldn't pass on it.

With proof of purchase they actually sent me a replacement amplifier at no cost to me.

Shipping

This shipped fast and delivered earlier then expected.

Amazon shipped the usps which is a mistake as they are not equipped to deal with heavy/ bulky items like ups and fedex.

We chatted back and forth, and came up with a solution that didn’t involve me having to ship this absolute monster back.

Packaging/appearance

I will also add, crutchfield double boxes their subs so they arrive in perfect condition, especially the manufacturer box.

The product showed up with damaged packaging.

The klipsch box was alittle ripped and i could see styrofoam from outside the box.

Competitiveness

If you wanna spend more on another name brand sub go ahead but this sub is plenty great for our home theater.

This 12 inch klipsch hits twice as hard as the 505 and f12.

The unit is not the latest klipsch product offering in this category.

While researching specs i wanted lower 20s with hertz which this does.
