Longer and narrower than my jade yoga mat (amazing yoga mat btw). They’re the same height as the rest of the pad. It's hard to find anything that won't break the bank or leaves your feet/head dangling outside coverage area when youre as tall as me.

Easy to inflate and deflate. No problems with the valve yet, and packing/inflating is easy.

The baffle structure also make it comfortable for a side sleeper. The noise isn't too pronounced, but does squeak or fart if you're shifting around. My only issue is that when i move around, the pad squeaks.

Cons

I concur with others the qc on these must be poor. Disappointed x2. This mat is worthless. This sleeping pad claims to have an r value of 4, which i greatly disagree with!

Made some suspicious squeaky sounds when moving. On the plus side, if you do receive a good pad, it is small and packs super light.

It was also at the time of having problems with the valve, it broke off when i would try to pull it open to inflate.

Took 11 full breaths to completely inflate, and deflated in seconds.

This is a great buy for the money.

This one is a great pad at a great price.

I have a cheap non insulated pad purchased on amazon that i took on a hike last fall.

It would appear the price has gone up.

3/12/19my klymit insulated static v lite just arrived.

Klymit sent me a valve quickly and i replaced it per the youtube video (do a search for klymit valve repair).

They sent it to a trail town and i was so grateful to be able to sleep the night through without having to get up and reinflate.

It was nice and compact in my back pack.

No problems with the valve yet, and packing/inflating is easy.

Competitiveness

I love it because it requires very little air to inflate, compared to the competition.

This sleeping pad was a good price compared to the big brands you find at rei and other outdoor/ sporting goods places.

I'd have to spend a *lot* more money to get significantly lighter.

- weight: it's a bit heavier than a couple of my other pads, but 8 oz heavier than a competitor product is worth the weight to me.
