Pros

The static v sleeping pad is great for camping (tent or cabin) i'm a stomach and side sleeper and this worked great for me. Sleep quality isn't as nice as our mattress at home, but is certainly acceptable given their light weight and compact size. Eve...  Read More

The klymit mat inflates just as fast and feels more durable than the neoair. It is very easy to inflate and deflate as it tells you which side the flap thing is up. It has a flip valve for quick deflation.

The size is great for traveling since it is lightweight and compacts down to about a liter sized water bottle. Rolls down small, is very lightweight, and very comfortable!

Cons

Klymit static v is lightweight but again does not support weight over 150lb. The valve is awkward. It was always deflated by morning. It has been leaking after just one week of use.

Competitiveness

So much lighter and more compact than a thermarest or a foam mattress, and much more comfortable.

I upgraded from a thermarest inflatable that rolled up pretty huge (took up 1/3 of my 60l bag).

I have been a thermarest user since the 90's and loved them.

It worked well for a 200lb - 6'1 male.
