Pros

Ultralight minimalist solution for backpacking. Plenty of loft for comfort and very lightweight. Bought two of these for our pups, to go in their dogpacks.

Klymit static v junior is a shorter version of the static v mat. I'm 6ft 180#, with the addition of my pillow, the pad supports from my shoulders down through my calves.

Easy to inflate and deflate. One for inflating and one for deflating.

The lifetime warranty is fantastic. If it does leak, klymit has excellent customer service and will replace the pad if needed.

Cons

Re-filled and left sitting, deflated within hours. Deflated within a couple hours with a 2 yr olds weight. Not sure the problem since there is no way it got damaged.

No pressure points in the normal spots (hips, shoulders), easy to inflate and deflate, small and super lightweight.

Kidding , it only takes 4-5 puffs and you are inflated.

It doesn't leak air, i kept it inflated for 5 days to test for leaks.

Honestly for the price point, i'm ok with that.

Was looking for a reasonable priced lighter more compact pad for my new edc tent set up.

I received the replacement pump within a few days no issues or cost.

Warranty replacement was quick and simple and only required an email.

Packaging/appearance

I needed a pad that packed small and provided some comfort as i have some hip pain that a is exacerbated when sleeping on thin pads.

Competitiveness

As far as i am concerned klymit is a great company with even better customer service.

This type nat should hold up well even if you got a larger one or another brand.

Not the lightest sleeping pad out there, but it's light enough and cost a whole lot less than many other pads.
