Pros
The kmc app detects the strip and registers it, then you select your wifi network and enter your key. Uses the smart life standard, meaning you don't have to use the company's own app to set it up. Based on an esp8266 microcontroller.
Kt-kmc is great. I manually reset the product and everything seemed to be back on track. Love the ubc fast charge.
Created my first (three) routine(s) last night to turn on the usb sockets and then turn off the usb socket. This is because they use a latching relay which saves on energy.
Works great through app or alexa. Controlling all individual components with alexa also worked without any problems. Works well for my applications, i use it with google assistant to turn on/off accessories.
Cons
Most of the time when i turn on one outlet all of the others turn on too. It asks for only a password, when the network requires a username as well as a password. Won't connect to wifi at all.
The instructions are very subpar and clearly written by google translate rather than someone that understands english. Spend a few more bucks and save yourself hours of frustration and, ultimately, a return.

Like other kmc products i bought this one works well.
Haven’t used it with any other apps most of my iot devices are smartlife compatible so that is all i use.
If you already use the smartlife app this is a perfect addition.

Therefore beware that they can be only used in one network and wont work once moved to a different network
