The screws are way to short to secure the metal frame down. Don't waste your money on this.

Easy assembly, sturdy nice counter top addition.
The ability to keep knives next to other cooking utensils makes the organization so nice.
While the utensil holding section is fine, the knife block portion, which is what i really bought this item for, is mostly unusable.
They did not account for the brackets on the metal cages which, even when flush, do not allow the screw to reach the retainer.
Price
I don’t believe this product is worth the $17 i paid for it, and will definitely be buying something else instead.
If you are just storing normal cooking utensils then you may want to consider a simpler cheaper option.

The slits cut for knives are too narrow for most standard kitchen knives and yet too wide for most steak knives

I’m not sure why they are cut at the length and width at which they were cut

I was only able to get two of my big knives into the block precut partition and that was by placing them side by side in the same slot

I could only fit one other knife that did not have a sheath in the block

They should just make all the slits long like the first one
