Pros
Sturdy, easy to handle and use. Handle and grip pad make it easy to control and safely use.
Time saver in the kitchen. Small enough to fit in the drawer of our rv. That knife is now. Ditto on the last slot.
The sharpener works absolutely perfectly. I've tried a lot of knife sharpeners, this one is the best. Was able to do so with this tool.

Competitiveness
I purchased a knive set for christmas but they turned blunt pretty fast but this little gadget renews them.
It does scrape some metal off so i would be wary using this to sharpen high-end knives.
