It does shed some in the weaving process as can be expected but not nearly as much as a fuzzier yarn would

Also the ball looks smaller than expected because the tube it’s wound on is smaller then the craft store brand if you look inside you can see there are a lot more layers of thread then usual you are getting what is advertised
