They work very well with the dimmers.
I'm ok with the low cri on this bulb because i use it with other lights in the same room with different characteristics.
A little on the spendy side, but leds are dropping in price, and soon cfls will be by the wayside.

A 15w led lamp is truly equivalent to a 75w incandescent.
They are brighter than a cree 75w from home depot that advertise same 1100 lumens output.

Contacted kobi electric from links on their site here recieved a pdf file that i faxed on a monday morning and had a new replacement bulb on wednesday

Not sure how this would work in a typical lamp with lampshade since these bulbs only throw light in one direction
