Pros
This little machine is so phenomenal. Used at my grandson’s 9th birthday party. You get the clips to hang the photos you get the machine.
The app is very straightforward and user friendly. App is a little wacky and stubborn. Overall, it does its job decently well.
Uses the yellow/magenta/cyan color scheme of a standard printer. Best print quality i have seen so far in this size class + plus longevity of the print. Replacement cartridge works perfectly on every print.
Cons
I'm not confident this thing is going to stay working. It's a nightmare getting this thing to work for photos.
Kodak needs to pull this one, upgrade it, and then re-release. Now it jams and won’t print. When i reached out all they say is it's back ordered and is expected to ship out in 1-2 weeks.
It also seems to be unable to print ten photos (a single cartridge) without overheating and needing a break. It's a lot of hassle for a few photos, but unless you're printing things out all the time, the paper always slips.
Once the cartridge messes up, that whole cartridge is garbage. Pried that one out too and ripped the thin plastic on the cartridge in the process.

After watching a ton of reviews, the quality is thought to be better than the other mini printers in this category.
No cartridges to recycle like the kodak), but the image quality is definitively a step down from the kodak.
The color quality is pretty low, any color except for blue is a bit washed out.
Price
Finally the cost per use of the kodak seems unrivaled.
The price should be less in my opinion considering they cost less to print online.
Competitiveness
The fuji instax link printer can be nice but it's a bit blurry in print and a bit contrast-limited.
I wish an adhesive film option was available, but i just use a tombow glue tape dispenser which is super quick.
I have 2 instax printers, 1 polaroid printer, i canon selphy printer and 1 hp printer.

The pictures come out a lot brighter than they look on my screen so before i print a picture i lower the brightness
