Scanner is very handy and a real time saver. The scanner is a small device and therefore very portable. The companion software works pretty well.

There's a cutout for your phone’s camera which aligns with the image. The clarity, color, and quality are perfect. Color balance tends to be bluish but maybe that's how they were photographed originally.

Cons

Too small. This devise is just horrible! Absolutely cheesy results with an iphone 7. Downloaded the kodak app and what a big disappointment.

Remember it is made of cardboard and can be fragile.

A little difficult to use on my iphone but with a little patience i was able to take the picture of the slide.

Price

This is a low cost and satisfactory device to help digitize my parents 35mm slides.

Don’t waste $$ on fancier ones it’s a manual process anyway.

I wasnt sure for the $40 it was going to work well.

I'd say the price is a little steep for a fold-up cardboard box.

Competitiveness

The new pics i made are much better than the store that originally developed them 22 yrs ago.

I totally recommend this as a cheaper alternative to an expensive film scanner.
