Pros & Cons
Pros
Using the unit itself is relatively straightforward. It's quick, sturdy, and cheap. The process can be timely and tedious, but the results are worth the effort. My family and i are thrilled with the quality of the results!
At the conclusion of a scan, a quick reversal of the reels allows for quick rewinding. The pro model can use the large seven inch reels of film, which unless your ancestors were extremely into splicing their home moves together into marathons is about... Read More

My uploaded image shows this a little on the edges of the screen.
The most important piece of advice i can give is to spend time getting the film into its little scanner bed, under the four tab... Read More
Competitiveness
Nothing to dislike works as advertised and is easy to use ihad many reals to copy to a flash drive.
Much better than the results from a local business.
I recently scanned about (20) 7" super 8 family film reels from the 1960s, 70s and 80s to mp4 on a 128gb sd card that clicks ri... Read More
Specifically, i needed to be able to scan full 400ft rolls which limited my options a little.
