Competitiveness
I had previously bought a different model, which had dust right inside the unit, and it was putting dust marks on every photograph.
Had bought another cheaper unit before and quality was never that good so bought this kodak one and quality is much better.
I can't compare it to other ones so you have to go on youtube to see if it is worth buying.

I would probably do the bulk of my slides with this but have my favourites professionally scanned to get better resolution

I think the 7 would be better but amazon didn’t have it in stock

Note that you can only use up to a 32 gb sd card with this even though the amazon buy together area shows it with a 128gb

Only problem is that date cant be set to before 1980 and slides were available much before that
