It was relatively easy to assembly and seems sturdy however after one week of owning it and sat and laid on only a few times as it is for my basement a couple of buttons on the mattress cover have already torn apart from the mattress leaving little tears

Instruction booklet is pretty usless but the video gives you step by step instructions
