Pros
Uses a barrel key, has a pin just in case the locking device were to not be fully engaged and fall off. On top of that it has a positive push to lock without needing the key inserted. I love that they are keyed the same. Came quickly and fits great.
This pin is strong and durable. Seems to be strong enough, and ease to install. I'm satisfied with it.
Cons
The pin is a bad design as it has 2 cotter pin holes to tighten the pin up to the receiver. Left me stranded with no safe way to tow my camper.

It appears to be much more resilient to the elements than my more expensive lock was that had to be drilled out due to corrosion

Sadly i was advised to order these locks as the value of my hitch products makes them targets for those that dont believe in working and paying for items

I prefer the key it has over a standard key which is easier to pick

Definitely like the locking mechanics of this unit had another brand that only lasted a year or so before the locking pin bent and made it unsafe
