It has been ideally suited to my work station, and i am happy with it.
If you look at other home good stores they can be quite pricey- even here on amazon there is a huge jump in price for a similar product.
Again, not perfect but it’s something i can live with.

The dimmer works fine i installed a 5w led burton bulb and it works perfect no flickering and looks really cool although the bulb only turn on when you twist the switch more than half the range of movement

On the downside the lamp doesnt feel very sturdy the wooden base is hollow and the metal frame didnt came perfectly in vertical position its slightly bent towards front

Just for clarification the metal frame is matte not glossy as stated in the description

The dimmer works wonderfully with an edison bulb there isn’t any strobe effect if it’s not turned on all the way

I don’t know if it’s obvious from the picture but the light bulb is angled inward because the screwin part wasn’t put in straight

I’ve tried adjusting the light bulb several times but after looking at that part of the lamp itself you can see where it’s angled
