Pros

It fits perfectly. Easy to install. No fit problems easily covers the retracted ruder.

Living on a dusty road, this cover helps keep my kayak clean. In the off time, it keeps the birds and other critters from leaving their signature. Protection from fading.

Cons

Less than 3 months old. It fits perfectly for my 10’ kayak and was so easy to install but the material is so flimsy. The straps are no where near opposite each other and when i tried to adjust them to line them up the cover keeps popping off.

Not at all waterproof. The material is thinner than a wind breaker (not durable) but waterproof. If stored with the cover as pictured (keel down), rain water/snow creates a low point in the material at the cockpit & collects snow/ice.

My boards sit in the direct sun part of the year and even after one year of the cover is holding strong

This cover fit over both of them perfectly (they are 11’ long) and the straps secured the cover.

The clips and tightening straps make the cover snug to the kayak and nothing gets in.

I went to tighten the strap on my second kayak and the buckle ripped right off the seam and tore the cover.

Price

This works just as well at a fraction of the price.

These cover seem pretty good for the price.

The manufacturer sells a 'custom' cover for over $250, which is insane in my opinion.

Again you get what you pay for.

I've thus far found this to be a great value for the money compared to the brand name cover from the kayak manufacturer.
