Pros & Cons

Pros

Great for soups, smoothies, and baby food. Can puree squash and leek soup. Can also make smoothie.

Simple to use and a breeze to clean up. Easy to clean, simply toss in dishwasher.

All works well. This ones amazing. Love it.

The motor strength is better and quieter. Not flimsy. It is comparatively heavy and the stainless shaft housing is a smart heavy one piece design.

Cons

The instruction manual is useless and barely comprehensible. Broke after less than a month from hitting an ice cube. But lasted only about 5 uses to blend vegetable soups.

Quality

Works great, cleans up easily, easy to store in two parts.

Works great; two powers and lots of speeds to choose from.

I have not used it yet but it is very well made.

It is so strong that it tends to pull downwards and almost such itself stuck to the bottom of the beaker.

Price

Great and saves a lot of $$ over buying coffee out.

All in all, great price for the mixer and the two attachments!

I cook a great deal and always wanted one of these for making soups, salad dressings, mashed potatoes, blending gravies, etc.

Competitiveness

The koios performs superior to cuisinart, and includes two different beaters.
