I'm still taking a star off for the dodgy technical quality though!
The region 1 version has been re-mastered and is quite simply excellent.
Like a tired, old lady out of make-up, the city projected is so powerful and dangerous but stripped of all glitz and pretense.
Shame about the picture quality and muffled sound.
Price
The difference in price is really worth while.
Packaging/appearance
One star off as packaging could be better, episode descriptions covered by a disc, back and front covers.
Competitiveness
Still tame compared to modern crime tv shows but a bit much for my liking.
