Pros

It is wonderful. It's quite and very reliable. I am happy with the product however it did arrive damaged.

Solid metal chassis and tough front panel. It's a bit noisy, but the tradeoff for having a more comfortable living space is totally worth it. Much quieter and much cooler.

I'm so glad amazon carries this type at an affordable price otherwise we would not have been able to afford one.

-price is about $150-$200 more than a standard top closing window air conditioner.

Shipping

It is a heavy unit so i can see this happening in the shipping which is unfortunate.

Packaging/appearance

As many other reviewers have noted, mine has cosmetic damage that was obviously done "pre-packaging".

Almost every side was dented when i unboxed it.

The packaging sucks and the sheet metal outside is really thin so i was a bit tweaked and damaged when i got it.

This company really needs to redesign it's packaging.
