Pros

This ac performs excellent. It does a great job & uses less electricity. The shiny plastic has a nice effect, the panel is attractive, and the unit is not really big.

Minor complaint is that the * on the machine are hard to read, lettering very small for my aging eyes. It fully matches my expectations. Response is very quick.

The blower fan is great, really moves the air around. I live in the midwest where it tends to be hot and humid.

Cons

Installation instructions are lousy. No instruction as to how deep to mount the sleeve in the wall. Screws from the sleeve mounting brackets interfered with unit installation. Contacted both seller and manufacturer and got nowhere with either.

When first turned on it is so loud it sounds like a revving engine. They are very noisy (even on low speed) and yes both of them rattle a lot.

I do not recommend you install this your self, it is not as simple as making a hole, sliding the sleeve in and shoving the unit in.

This a/c almost 3 months ago was turning off by itself contacted 2 days ago edgestar support who handles koldfront warranties.

This ac is affordable for a through the wall unit and it is very quiet.

, it was shipped yesterday ups and i am receiving it today (just checked) they sent me a shipping label to send the defective a/c back.

The box has everything you need in it including decorative frame for the front.

It came with plenty of foam and fit in my wall box perfectly.

Came with the foam pieces to seal around the cracks with.
