Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

Has what you need for a road/trail side tubeless tire repair if you get a puncture that sealant can't seal. I have 680b tire on my commuter bike and didn't want to get stranded as they are non-tube tires.

Works fine as a temp solution for my circumstances. Has a reamer. Effective roadside repair is a must.

Longer + skinnier shape works well in my tool roll. Tucks in nicely with my under saddle spare tire strap system. Fits inside wolf tooth sleeves and it works great on my road bike with carbon handlebar.

Cons

The tire plug inserter does not work. It is impossible to pre load a strip into the tool & it is extremely fiddly to pick the strips out of the handle.

But low cost insurance just in case.

And it is about half the price of others on the market.

Packaging/appearance

I got the orange color so if/when i lay it on the ground, it’s easy to see and i don’t forget to pack it up.

Small, packable, intuitive design and works like a charm.

I was able to pack inside one of the sleeves the kom repair kit without caps and also a zefal co2 inflator as seen the pictures.

I'd recommend re-packing the bacon strips (x4 in each side) for easy retraction (as shown in my picture): insert the strips wit...  Read More

On a longer gravel ride a riding buddy developed a leak in a tire and was losing sealant at a pretty good rate

It took 3 plugs because of the size of the puncture and we didnt know what we were doing but we made it back home safely

Pro tip use the 34file34 end to rough up the puncture a little and the plug will adhere to the tire better

The hole in the tread took two bacon strips to seal

I put one in but did not seal as the entry hole was pretty big so put in another right along side of it
