I actually bought this shirt for my dog that has skin issues trying to use it as an alternative to the cone but it actually didnt work that well for that

This is why1 the material is much more substantial 2 the shirt comes down over the dogs rear improving the overall fit

I would like to point out a minor design flaw the elastic that goes around the hind legs is a bad design and would work better if velcro was at both ends of the hind leg strap and attached directly to the shirt otherwise it continually comes loose and hangs down the legs very frustrating for the animal and owner to continually fix it
