Pros
The velcro fastening on the outer is adequate for the job of keeping the ring together. Much better than the horrible plastic cone that the vet gives.
Cons
Ring is big enough to go round his neck but is not deep enough. Sizing incorrect. Deflates too quickly.

Not only are they uncomfortable for your dog they restrict their ability to see around themsniffat things eat and drink and because of the vision restriction and size of the collar the poor things then bump into things

I found the ecollar useful for simple pet injuries but occasionally when my pet would move the ecollar would slide round his neck
