Wubba comet has a hard tennis ball attached to a soft double squeak ball. Shorkie loves to run her teeth on the ribs of the rubbery part.
The outer coating on this version is genius, very sturdy! Great toy. This, however, is a good sturdy dog toy.
I have a doberman and a treeing walker coonhound that love to play tug together and both also are chewers. These are my dogs’ favorite toys. My jack russell loves her pool toys.

The tentacles were culled and dangling off it like a tattered overused shoelace. Did not hold up to my 7 month old corgi.

It is so sturdy and she just loves to chomp away.
Our two year old newfoundland loves to chew and we struggle finding toys that are safe and sturdy enough to play with as well as to chew.
This kong toy has less canvas and is more durable.
Since my pup would chew the top to get the balls out, the rubber stopped it and the toy lasts 5 times longer.

I usually buy the kong wubba wet but she goes through those pretty quickly as the fabric tears easily

The fabric on the comet is much tougher and lasts longer this does float so we use it for pool time

The best part of the comet is that the dogs always chew the top part off exposing the squeak balls

Those balls are a choking hazard to a large dog like a doberman so they have to go in the trash once exposed

The comet however has a harder rubber covering over the end where the squeak balls are which makes it last significantly longer for my dogs

My 8 month old border collie x blue heeler can find the weak points of the kong wubbas and work them to death testing apart string and thread until hes reached the fun stuff in the middle
