Pros

These cubes keep a drink cold for a long time. Great melt rate. Filled with hot water because they come out cleaner. Also cooler for my thermos jug.

The lid is a nice touch for stacking but not necessary. There is a lip on the lid that fits over the tray. The covers that keep other odors out.

Easy to remove cubes when frozen.

Cons

I have to wrestle with the cube and tray trying to get the cubes popped out.

Trays stick together when stacked in freezer. It gets into a drink rendering it undrinkable.

These are not silicone. They have to be a petroleum based product.

After about almost a year and a half the ones i was using started having an odor that i couldn't remove regardless of cleaning.

I could leave these trays on the counter for a week and the ice still wouldn’t come out.
