It is supplied in a branded box there were no instructions or warranty in mine but assume usual amazon support will apply

The unit is black plastic matching the console although the material and build quality are not the best quality

An alternative if you only with to use the stand for charging is to use an extension lead and connect to a phone charger

The fans do make an audible hum but it is not too loud on my unit and soon drowned out by general gaming

If you are bothered by the noise or power draw the fans can be turned off by a switch next the the usb ports

Usb cable could be a bit longer this does not really give chance to move the console off the base when on already in case you would like to move or change position
