Even if the sauce tasted good they were so unfulfilling to eat in place of satisfying chewy tteokbokki that i would rather just not have eaten anything at all

I thought i was going to have to just throw them away and continue sampling other styles i like other noodles by this brand but i tried one lastditch effort and made a discovery that switched me from throwing them away to subscribing to get a box every month porridge

Then add a dash of soy sauce and fish sauce or sprinkle of dry hondashi to taste or whatever you like your porridge to taste like

You could also go seafood with clams or top with some bacon bits or try a softboiled egg and some scallions

Anyway the psyllium husk expands in the water and fills in the gaps creating a texture like smooth porridge
