Packaging/appearance
Excellent packaging appears air dried & works well if rehydrated for a few hours in a bowl of water.
I love that this product comes in a resealable package so that i don't have to put it into a separate zipper bag.
The package size could be reduced to save plastic waste but this is my only negative.
This kombu comes in a large, flat envelop.
Competitiveness
It tastes as good if not better than my local asian restaurant that has the seaweed in their miso soup.
Not as good grade as hokkaido sourced brands and not as good for tsukudani but the price makes the point.
