Price
Compact, inexpensive, synth with stereo effects out.
I recommend it for anyone who wants an inexpensive synth, just starting out or a gift for a kid to learn about synthesizers.
(look at the arturia microfreak or the behringer neutron for $300 if that's your jam.
Whatever brings the price point down i guess.
Shipping
Loved everything from the time i placed an order to the time it got shipped to received.
Packaging/appearance
The envelope was an envelope -- it had a few different forms and it also has a tremolo tucked away in there, which is neat.
Competitiveness
There are other companies like dirtbox that make custom oscillators and effects as well, check them out.
Korg has come a long way since the monotron in terms of sound quality of their inexpensive boxes.
