However this situation occurs to all the brands that ive ever used and i pretty much have to reapply the silicone for every 12 years

I was able to use a rubber glove to blend the caulk into the siding and the repairs are barely noticeable

Standard design means if dont use a whole tube you often have to throw the tube away the next time you need it
