Pros

Not a deal breaker just wish it was red like described. Correct cosmetics. Buy it. At this price, this special edition is a steal.

Great guitar for the money sounds good great sustainability. Slap on some new strings and your good to go. Made from quality components at a very affordable price. Only thing i would really change is the nut, and it is plastic.

It's d shape and thin profile makes it very comfortable for extended play and very agile for fast fretwork. Action is perfect, as well as intonation. It is eminently playable.

Cons

Do yourself a favor, if you have to have a whammy bar.

Tuners are pretty solid and seems to hold very well, even with temperature changes.

The body was very well rounded and the double cutaway was made just right to comfortable play the higher frets.

One advise, remove the cap from the volume, it creates an annoying "midrange only sound" at low level volume.

After tuning the guitar, plugged it into my marshall 20w amp and was blown away at what the stock pickup was screaming out.

Just received this guitar in the mail 2hrs ago.

The tremolo was set down when i got it maybe for shipping but i wasgoing to set it that way so that saved me from doing it.

I got mine with the $50 gift card offer for $162 shipped and you could seriously double or triple it i wouldn't be surprised.

Very close look-a-like to an '80's baretta (only minus the floyd rose.

Competitiveness

There is no guitar on the market that can compare, in terms of entry level that is.

This guitar is just how i thought it would be doesnt compare to more expensive models but gets the job done and it is cool.

The stock pickup definitely holds its own, but i went ahead replaced it with an evh wolfgang (half the price of the guitar).
