Pros & Cons
Pros
It uses the same footprint as a standard sink but with lot's of room. This sink is so spacious and gorgeous. The size is also large enough to fit any small tub in if you'd like something smaller on the side for soaking.
The sink comes in a cloth bag inside the box, with loads of ridged foam packing. Packaged to keep it safe in shipment. I also wish the drain came ready for a disposal.
It's not the cheapest but it was the specific size i needed. It’s solidly built, strong and quiet. A shout out to kraus usa for exemplary customer service.
The noise dampening pads make the sink pretty quiet as well. That is tight in the world of rough carpentry. It's such a modern, sleek look. Remains to be seen how it holds up, especially to boiling pasta water poured down the drain.
Rather than tightening a large nut the circumference of the drain from underneath, the top and bottom halves are connected via a bolt that extends from the bottom piece upwards, to which is * a fitting. The drain works as expected.
Cons
My countertop has practically no lip in front of this new sink. The material grade is inferior & it needs more slope to the bottom. The bottom is too flat, not draining well and stains horribly.
Highlights
Quality
After using for several months just loving the quality of this sink!
Shortly after install we had to call a plumber to change some of the drain lines and the plumber was impressed with the quality of sink.
The faucet, of course, is not included with the sink.
I will add a picture which may help others with the conversion.
Price
Wasn't bad to install, just common sense.
Shipping
It came so well packaged, there was almost no chance of any damage occurring during shipping.
Packaging/appearance
Remains to be seen how it holds up, especially to boiling pasta water poured down the drain.
We've had no issues with leaking from the drain or with water on our countertop seeping underneath the sink.
Competitiveness
This product meets my expectations and is much better quality than the comparable ruvati that i bought first and returned.
I can now easily wash cookie sheets, 12-in frying pans and even my turkey roaster!
I expect the same could be achieved, more cheaply, with autobody filler carefully leveled off.
I compared a number of stainless steel sinks in the market.

The instructions indicated to simply bed this down in caulk but i did not think this would make a good longlasting seal

I could have used wood but i wanted maximum water resistance in case the caulk ever failed anywhere

The second problem is the clips provided to secure the sink to the countertop from underneath
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
They look ingenious and elegant but unless you have easy access to the sink from underneath very unlikely in an existing countertop possibly if attaching the sink to the countertop before attaching the countertop to the cabinet they are virtually unusable
