Pros

It was packaged and shipped so securely and arrived in perfect condition. Comes with a sturdy, glossy cardboard template to trace for cutting sink out.

Small basket works great for catching food crumbs. It's deeper than the one i replaced and has an optional drain that’s deeper and has a waste basket.

It dampens the noise of pots and pans clanking while you're cleaning them.

It’s very sturdy and doesn’t flex when using pull down faucet. Installation was done by a novice, and went quickly and smoothly. It feels very solid and was easy to install.

Cons

Drop-in unit should not be installed in a laminate countertop. Not much margin of tolerance when cutting the opening on countertop to drop in the sink.

The container had already been destroyed so reordering was the only option. Thank goodness for amazon's excellent return policy for defective items.

One month in and there are marks and scratches. One corner of the sink top is dented. Wiping it down with barkeepers friend changes the patina.
